Release: Ginger Sykes Torres Ready To Make History

PHOENIX -  Yesterday, Ginger Sykes Torres filed her signatures with the Secretary of State's office. With over 2,500 signatures, Ginger has qualified for the ballot as a candidate in Arizona's 1st Congressional District.

"I can't thank my volunteers and staff enough. Their dedication, grit, and determination made the difference. Despite challenges with the E-Qual website and the confusion of redistricting, they made this happen." said Ginger Sykes Torres, "We entered this race on January 26th. In a short amount of time, we have managed to put together a robust campaign, generate substantial enthusiasm, and build momentum across Congressional District 1." 

Congressional candidates must meet the lesser of the following signature requirements and submit them today: The average signature requirement of all the congressional districts for the candidate’s political party (1,563); OR The signature requirement from the district that corresponds with the district listed on the candidate’s nomination paper (1,659).
